Wat wij vragen
- Framework Experience: Solid experience with Symfony or Laravel, and the ability to work comfortably with custom frameworks and vanilla PHP.
- PHP Expertise: Deep command of modern PHP 8.x and strong architectural experience in high‑traffic environments.
- SQL & PostgreSQL: Proven proficiency in complex SQL optimization in PostgreSQL, essential for data management and performance.
- Architectural Pragmatism: Demonstrated experience migrating legacy procedural PHP systems toward modern, decoupled microservices or clean architectures. You apply best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Containerization & Cloud: Solid foundational understanding of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployment on AWS.
- Domain‑Driven Design: Conceptual understanding of DDD principles is beneficial, as our platform deals with complex domain models.

As a Senior PHP Software Engineer at TradeTracker.com, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our performance marketing platform.
De rol
We follow a cloud-native approach, leveraging AWS services alongside the Atlassian product suite and Github for our development and deployment processes. In this role, you'll make a significant impact by designing and implementing solutions that drive the success of our platform; including modernising legacy systems into decoupled, maintainable architectures.
We build teams and value them. This is an office-centric role: we expect a minimum of 4 out of 5 days in the office, so a commute of around 30 minutes door-to-door is ideal.
Collaboration:
- Strong Communicator: Comfortable conducting rigorous peer code reviews and mentoring mid-level developers.
- Initiative: Able to step in and run agile rituals when needed (e.g. when Sergey is away).
- AI Tooling: Practical adoption of AI development tooling is required. We're keen to discuss your real-world approach in conversation; we value substance over hype.
